Sugar prices remained quiet in the local truck transport market today on the back of scattered buying support against adequate position of stocks.

The following are today’s quotations per quintal:

Sugar ready: M-30 3,025-3,150, S-30 3,000-3,125.

Mill delivery: M-30 2,840-3,000; S-30 2,825-2,990.

Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinnoni 2,990, Asmoli 2,970, Mawana 2,920, Titabi 2,915, Thanabhavan 2,870, Budhana 2,860, Dorala 2,900, Khatauli 2,890, Morna 2820 and Ramala 2830.
