Several bank-owned brokerages, such as HDFC Securities, SBICap Securities, and Axis Securities, have reduced their broking charges for equity and derivatives transactions to match those of discount brokers, with some even eliminating account-opening fees. Kotak Securities charges the lowest at Rs 10 for intra-day and F&O orders.
