In a push towards developing a homegrown telecom ecosystem, BSNL will upgrade all its 4G towers to 5G within the next 6-8 months. The company’s indigenous 4G stack has placed India among a select group of five countries capable of delivering an end-to-end telecom solution. BSNL has a subscriber base of 9.1 crore and a 4G network serving over 22 million people.
