Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Mary Kom’ has raked in Rs 28.32 crore in box office collections in the opening weekend. The biopic, which hit 1,800 screens across the country, had done a business of Rs 8.2 crore in the opening day.

According to reports, the maximum collections for the film have come from from Delhi and Mumbai. ‘Mary Kom’ had accumulated a 60 per cent occupancy rate on the opening day.

‘Mary Kom’ has performed quite well in the overseas territories also. The film has grossed an estimated $1.2 million with major business coming from the US market.
