: India is a young country, and with the economy opening up, students have much more options as far as education and job avenues are concerned. Many students, therefore, look to study newer courses that are offered in various institutes and niche avenues to engage themselves in. Clinical research is one such area. It is a systematic study of new drugs in human subjects to generate data for discovering or verifying the clinical and pharmacological effects or adverse effects with the objective of determining the safety and efficacy of the new drug.
