The post reads, “Government shutdown is turning America into a third world country. My flight got cancelled which caused multiple meetings being cancelled too. SNAP payments stopped, it doesn’t affect me directly but there are families who depend on SNAP to survive. IRS is gonna delay tax payouts. While ICE is still rampant. People can’t eat, can’t travel, can’t plan their week but somehow every member of the congress still gets a paycheck on time. The country’s being held hostage by toddlers in suits. Hoping, really really hoping, these nutbags can come to an agreement so the people can live their lives again.”
