FBI Director Kash Patel is facing fresh scrutiny after a podcast with girlfriend went viral for all the wrong reasons. Teaser clips from the episode were released online mere hours after the Brown University shooting — as FBI officials led a manhunt for the suspect. Videos of Patel discussing his ‘love life’ and dynamic with Alexis Wilkins have since sparked furious backlash as a growing number of social media users demanded his ouster.
“There’s a mass shooter still on the loose while Keystone Kash’s defunded FBI can’t catch him. But good to know he’s got time to hop on a taxpayer-funded private jet to record a podcast with his girlfriend,” marvelled the office of California Governor Gavin Newsom.
Two students were killed and nine others severely injured over the weekend as a gunman rampaged through the halls of Brown University. The shooter remained at large on Tuesday with zero indications that investigations have narrowed in on a specific suspect. The FBI has offered a reward up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual.
‘Fire him’
“Kash Patel is doing podcasts with his girlfriend while there’s a mass murderer on the loose in Rhode Island,” fumed one influential X user.
