Singer Alexis Wilkins filed a $5 million defamation suit against former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin on Friday after being tagged as an Israeli spy. The musician — also the longtime girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel — has been battling ‘honeypot’ allegations in recent weeks after the conservative podcaster accused her of being a former Mossad agent. The relationship between 26-year-old Wilkins and 45-year-old Patel has faced extensive scrutiny since he was confirmed to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation in February.
Israeli spy allegations
According to reports, Wilkins is suing Seraphin for calling her a “former Mossad agent” and accusing her of having a “honeypot” relationship with Patel. The lawsuit filed earlier this week also accuses the former FBI agent of leveling “malicious” falsehoods to claim that she was a foreign government agent “assigned to manipulate and compromise the director of the FBI”. Wilkins accused the podcaster of “using this fabricated story as self-enriching clickbait” and cited a recent episode of his show to underscore her claims.
The episode at the center of the lawsuit spoke extensively about Patel’s “little honeypot issue” and made several disparaging remarks about their age gap and his appearance.
“He’s got a girlfriend that is half his age, who is apparently is both a country music singer, a political commentator on Rumble, a friend of John Rich through [FBI deputy Director Dan] Bongino, who also now owns a big chunk of Rumble, and she’s also a former Mossad agent in what is like the equivalent of their NSA…But I’m sure that’s totally because, like, she’s really looking for like a cross-eyed, you know, kind of thickish built, super cool bro who’s almost 50 years old who’s Indian in America,” Seraphin can be heard saying.
Who is Alexis Wilkins?
The 26-year-old is a country music singer and the current Capitol Hill Press Secretary for Representative Abe Hamadeh. Wilkins has been writing music since she was eight years old — with her debut music EP ‘Grit’ soaring to No. 4 on the iTunes chart and amassing over a million streams. Wilkins holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Belmost University with a focus on political science and governance. She had won the prestigious Williams Murray Writing Award during her time in university.
Wilkins is also a rising figure in conservative political circles and hosts a podcast called ‘Between the Headlines’ on Rumble. She is also affiliated with the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. The musician had met Patel during a conservative ReAwaken America event in 2022 and they began dating less than a year later.
