Democratic lawmakers continue to exert pressure on the US Department of Justice to release the so-called Epstein Files. On Friday (US time), members on the House Oversight Committee exposed a few key figures and public personalities’ potential ties with Jeffrey Epstein. Few of the most prominent names to pop up in the newly released documents were those of tech titans Elon Musk and Bill Gates.

The new batch of 8,544 documents – all redacted to protect the identity of the late financier’s victims – came out in response to a subpoena in August. These pages go on to detail the sex offender’s daily schedule, shedding light on Elon Musk once being scheduled to visit the late pedophile’s private island.

The bombshell revelations comes months after the ex-DOGE leader accused US President Donald Trump of being listed in the Epstein Files, crediting it as the reason why the documents were not being released to the public.

Elon Musk in new Epstein Files release

The official social media account of the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee pushed the redacted documents on X on Friday. “They show meetings with Steve Bannon, Peter Thiel, and a potential visit to Epstein’s Island for Elon Musk. Prince Andrew is listed as a passenger on Epstein’s jet,” they wrote alongside the pages.

According to them, the Tesla boss was scheduled to travel to Epstein’s island on December 6, 2014. However, it doesn’t confirm Musk’s arrival at the location, with a note against the mention reading, “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)”

On top of that, the agenda files Democrats released this week indicated that the convicted sex offender was at his ranch in New Mexico instead of being at Little St James in the US Virgin Islands when Musk was slated to visit.

Elon Musk responds to Epstein link claims

In the wake of emerging details, a source close to the billionaire SpaceX boss further spilled to the New York Post on Friday that Musk never went to Epstein’s island.

As always, Musk resorted to social media’s global reach to dismiss the claims himself too. Responding to a post alluding to a Forbes report titled “Elon Musk Planned Trip To Epstein’s Private Island, Newly Released Documents Show,” while supporting him, the Tesla boss commented, “This is false.”

Back in 2019, the now-richest man in the world told Vanity Fair that he although he had been to Epstein’s New York City mansion, he had declined his repeated offers to get him to visit the late financier’s “pedophile island,” as it is often called.

Other big names in new Epstein documents

As per the partially redacted files unveiled this week, Epstein is believed to have had breakfast with former Trump White House advisor Steve Bannon on February 16, 2019, and lunch with investor and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel on November 27, 2017.

On top of their names, Microsoft founder Bill Gates was also dragged back into the scandal, as the files mentioned Epstein was listed to have a “tentative breakfast party” with the tech leader. Gates has previously called his meeting with Jeffrey a “mistake.”

In addition to these meetings or potential get-togethers, British royal family member Prince Andrew was also again linked to Jeffrey Epstein. The newly released files accompanied reported flight logs associated with the financier’s private jet, wherein Prince Andrew is named as one of the passengers of a flight from New Jersey to Florida in May 2000.
