Federal agents arrested a Delta Airlines co-pilot right after the plane he was flying touched down in California. The baffling incident happened on Delta Flight 2809 around 9:35 pm Saturday (US time) after it flew in from Minneapolis to San Francisco. A local report noted that the aircraft’s arrival in San Francisco was delayed due to heavy fog in the Bay Area, leading to low visibility.

Passengers hadn’t even deboarded the flight as about 10 agents, who now according to Fox Business have been linked to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), busted into the plane.

A video circulating on X further shows officials walking straight out of the cockpit after the arrests that transpired on the Delta flight – Boeing 757 – moments after it landed at the California airport, leaving even the co-pilot and other passengers shocked.

Passengers were in the process of deboarding when the dramatic undertaking went down. A person, who was on the flight, told The San Francisco Chronicle that about 10 people with “badges, guns, and different agency vests/markings… stormed the cockpit” and nabbed one of the co-pilots. They ultimately escorted him down the aisle in what became his walk of shame as agents took him through Coach and First-Class sections of the aircraft.

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin took to his X profile to reveal what ultimately led to the pilot’s arrest. In a shocking twist, the individual is believed to have been arrested on charges of child sexual abuse material.
