In a recent BBC interview, Prince Harry showed his desire to a “reconciliation” with the Royal Family. Getting emotional, he said that the King “won’t speaking to me because of his security stuff” adding that he “did not want to fight anymore” hinting at his father’s medical condition.

Just recently, the Prince has lost an appeal about the levels of security entitled to the Royal family. The Duke of Sussex being “devastated” after this loss expressed that he won’t be moving to the UK with his wife and children “at this point.” After the London Court’s dismissal of the security appeal, the Duke expressed his discontent and how his family will be missing out on “everything”. However he confirmed that he “will continue to live a life of public service.”

Prince Harry and wife, Meghan Markle gave up their official roles in the family in 2020. Stepping down from the royal duties, the Prince discussed about the ongoing disagreements withing the family but he had now “forgiven” them.

Choosing peace over the security entitlement despite of resigning from official duties, he chose to express his desire to reconcile. Following the court’s decision, Prince Harry did feel aggrieved but that did not amount to an error of law, as per Reuters.

The internet seems to be divided after this interview as the Prince and Markle receive negative comments about the appeal. Users have took to X and shared, “. You do not get to keep the job perks after you have resigned.” While most expressed support with the court’s decision, he gained some sympathy after users realised the familial hostility between the father and son.

The Sussex Prince now resides in California with his wife and children. While being part of multiple charities, they are also involved in lucrative media deals and commercial opportunities.
