With the United States and Russia now pulled into what was once the Israel-Iran war, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that several countries are ready to give Tehran their nuclear warheads.
Since US strikes targetted three nuclear sites – Isfahan, Natanz and Fordow in Iran, the close aide of President Vladimir Putin has shared a series of social media posts addressing the issue.
In one such X declaration, he said, “The enrichment of nuclear material and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons will continue.” He further asserted that despite the US intervention, “critical infrastructure of the nuclear fuel cycle” remained significantly intact.
‘Countries ready to supply nukes to Iran’
Without offering much detail or naming any countries, he claimed, “A number of countries are ready to supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.” Much like US President Donald Trump’s initial stance on playing a supposed peacekeeper between Israel and Iran, the Russian president had also offered to step up his role in assisting a resolution. The MAGA leader, in turn, slammed the claims, taking a dig at Russia about how “they should first take care of their own conflict.”

3. A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.
But with his recent tweets, Medvedev has critically pulled apart the American leader’s role in kicking off a new war for his country altogether.
Putin aide takes a swipe at Trump
Sardonically calling him the ‘president of peace,’ he added, “With such “successes,” Trump can forget about the Nobel Peace Prize, despite the corrupt nature of that award. A great start, congratulations, Mr President!”
As for where Iran and Russia stand, the former country’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said they “enjoy a strategic partnership” and “always consult with each other and coordinate” their positions. The Iranian top diplomat also asserted that while the “door to diplomacy” should remain open, “this is not the case right now” in light of the US strikes on their nuclear sites that “crossed a very big red line.”

9. The vast majority of countries around the world oppose the actions of Israel and the United States.
On Sunday, Araghchi said at the press conference in Istanbul that he was going to Moscow “this afternoon” for “serious consultations with President Putin.” Contrary to his remarks against the US, he hailed Moscow as a “strategic partner.”
