London terror attack: US President Donald Trump slammed London Mayor Sadiq Khan in no uncertain terms for his statement on the London attack that took place on June 4. Donald Trump had in his initial reaction tweeted his condemnation of the attacks saying, “Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there – WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!” A few hours later, he slammed the London Mayor in a series of tweets for his statement where he said, ‘no reason to be alarmed!’. Trump on wrote, “At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is ‘no reason to be alarmed!'” He also wrote, “Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his “no reason to be alarmed” statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!”
A fuming Sadiq Khan has looked to retaliate by saying that Trump’s state visit to UK should be cancelled. Khan during an interview on Monday told Channel 4 News, “I don’t think we should roll out the red carpet to the president of the USA in the circumstances where his policies go against everything we stand for,” as quoted by The Guardian. Be that as it may, the tussle between the two in the wake of the tragedy in London, made the Twitterati put things in perspective. Check out the conversation:
Here are the tweets by Donald Trump-
At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"

Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his "no reason to be alarmed" statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!

Here is how the Twitterati reacted to his posts-
What happened to that, “whatever we can do to help London” sentiment two tweets ago? A phone call might have been in order…not a tweet.

7 dead and 25 wounded in gun violence in U.S. in last 72 hours, and President of U.S. doesn’t even mention it.

More Trump fear mongering. Don’t buy into it. He’s using half a quote to provoke and spread disinformation. Another pathetic trump tweet.

The United States was a world leader before you came on & began tearing down our country with lies, treason, and selfishness. Pathetic=YOU!

Dear @realDonaldTrump ,this is London this afternoon. We don’t do ‘alarmed’. We grieve, we trust law enforcement and we get on with it. pic.twitter.com/FZGvVxVaDx

Totally out of context..and lets be honest, if the mayors last name wasn’t Khan this tweet wouldn’t have happened…his bigotry is clear

.@realDonaldTrump Putting a person’s statement in a different context is the same as lying. You are lying! You’re also an idiot. #idiot

You’re the worst piece of shit & a complete embarrassment to this country. You’re not a leader, you’re a joke to everyone.
— Fred Sablan (@Fredsablan) June 4, 2017
He’s acting like a leader, instead of a fear-mongering opportunistic jackass like you. https://t.co/SDMG9c7cVH
— Charles Johnson (@Green_Footballs) June 4, 2017
Khan a leader? That’s a loose use of the definition. Winning elections doesn’t mean you’re a leader. I’m sure you’d say same for Trump.

London Mayor while talking about cancelling Trump’s state visit also said, “When you have a special relationship it is no different from when you have got a close mate. You stand with them in times of adversity but you call them out when they are wrong. There are many things about which Donald Trump is wrong.”
