Melania Trump was quite hands on with her role of being the First Lady during Donald Trump‘s first term as the US President. However, the scenario seems completely different this time. Her last public outing before the dinner, was on January 24, when she joined Trump on visits to disaster-struck areas in North Carolina and California.
Some even joked that she might have “ghosted” the East Wing. However, Melania did return in time for the evening’s most glamorous event — a lavish annual dinner filled with white hydrangeas and tulips and a huge feast. Trump had said the Melania had worked very hard to make everything beautiful. And that she’s really good at it. He went on to thank her for doing “such a great job.”

Melania Trump’s absence from the White House: Here’s what The Guardian has to say
An article by The Guardian has called out Melania Trump for being “absent from Washington” since Trump returned to the White House. The article further goes on to say that instead, Melania’s “energy has been poured into monetising her status.”
Quoting the Wall Street Journal, The Guardian in its article wrote that the First Lady will receive over $28 million of the $40 million that Amazon has spent to make a documentary on her life. Not satisfied with the said amount, Trump is also reportedly looking for “sponsorships” for the documentary film.
Thinking back to the time of Donald Trump’s inauguration, Melania had also launched a cryptocurrency known as the Official Melania Meme. Melania’s Meme coin comes from her own company, MKT World LLC. She has used this company since 2021 for different projects, including selling portraits of herself as First Lady.
