Jim Arrington’s workout routine

At 93, Jim still follows a strict workout regimen three times a week. His sessions last about two hours each and are split into specific body sections.

Mondays focus on legs, Wednesdays on mid-body exercises (including abs, chest, and back), and Fridays are dedicated to shoulders and arms. His workout philosophy is based on adapting to his body’s changing needs as he ages.

Jim shared in an interview with Guinness World Records, “What works for a person at one time in their life isn’t the same at other times in their life,” he told Guinness World Records.

What is Arrington’s motivation to stay fit?

Despite having achieved remarkable success, Jim maintains a humble view of his physique. In a 2023 interview with Guinness World Records, he stated that he has a “very low opinion” of his body’s appearance.

“I see all these fantastic physiques and I knew the only way I could make it is if I outlast everybody, and that’s exactly what I did,” Jim said. This mindset has kept him pushing forward, even in his 90s.
