The internet is flooded with memes and trolls as Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron and head of HR Kristin Cabot were caught cuddling and hugging on the ‘kissing cam’ at a Coldplay concert. As the camera lingered, Byron, who is married, abruptly pulled away and ducked behind a barrier. However, Cabot covered her face with her hands, visibly embarrassed. In the viral video, Chris Martin can be seen saying, “Oh, look at these two. Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.” However, the one who captured the moment on camera has a message for the cheating couple.

Who is Grace Springer?

28-year-old Grace Springer shared the video of the alleged couple on TikTok and took the internet by storm. She is located in New Jersey, mentioned she never planned on creating a scandal but maintains her right to share the footage. Sharing her side of the story on The U.S. Sun, Grace explained, “I had no clue who the couple was. I thought I filmed a rather interesting reaction to the kiss cam, so I posted it.”

This is also the first time I am hearing someone say that there is a rational explanation behind feeling guilt. She continued, “A part of me feels sorry for these people, but in the end, you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.” Towards the end, Grace said that the couples that used to be together can still somehow manage to move forward and rebuild their marriage, which is quite optimistic.

“I hope their partners can heal from this and get a second chance at the happiness they deserve with their future still in front of them.” “I hope, for them, my video was a blessing in disguise.” Coldplay’s superfan Grace travelled with friends to Boston to see the band’s perform live. Discussing the event later, Grace noticed “a lot of talk” around the incident. “It was a fascinating conversation for sure, but no one recognised them,” Grace said.

What happened after sharing the video?

Springer explains what was the initial reaction on social media after sharing the video. “When I posted late last night before bed it was picking up traction with a couple thousand views. I woke up to seven million. Now over 30 million. Overwhelmed to say the least.”As of Friday morning, her video had amassed an astonishing 46 million views and 4.9 million likes.
