Just hours left before The Game Awards 2025 go live! All eyes from the gaming community are peeled to see just how many trophies Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will bag at the big event in Los Angeles. Leading with 13 nods under its belt, the Sandfall Interactive-developed game is not just the most-nominated game this year, but also the one with record-high nominations in the 11-year history of the awards show, as per Variety.
The 12th edition of The Game Awards are set to be hosted by Canadian video game journalist and TV presenter Geoff Keighley, who has been helming the annual ceremony since its inception in 2014. This year’s show will be taking place at the Peacock Theatre in LA on December 11, 2025 (US time).
“Celebrating the best and premiering what’s next in video games,” the Game Awards go live in India tomorrow early morning. Some renowned presenters set to take the stage in LA are Neil Newbon, Jeffrey Wright, Maggie Robertson, Miss Piggy and Todd Howard. On top of that, beloved rock band Evanescence will be setting the stage on fire with its performance of “Afterlife” from Netflix’s animated series Devil May Cry.
