The Streamer Awards, which happen to be the first-ever streamer-oriented awards show, are back for the 2025 ride. Broadcast live on December 6, 2025, at 3 pm PT, the popular affair was held at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, California, with QTCinderella, aka Blaire, and Maya Higa as the evening’s hosts.

Indie rock band Good Kid, VTuber Ironmouse & MarcoMeatball and American R&B icon Ty Dolla $ign took the LA stage as A-list performers over the weekend.

Even if you’re not necessarily a fan of the boom of live streamers and digital media personalities, it’s hard to ignore high-profile names like Kai Cenat (or KaiCenat) and IShowSpeed (aka Darren Jason Watkins Jr or Speed) from the real-time viral fame era.

Fans drag Streamer Awards 2025 production quality

Viewers were quick to flame the show’s production levels. Quite a few unloaded their furious thoughts online, branding The Streamer Awards as “dumpster fire” and the “hardest watch of the year.”

“Man I love QT and the effort she puts into it. I just wish her heckin production team put in the same effort. we’ve barely started and we’ve had more screw ups already than in the entirety of the last streamer awards,” a user penned on X.
