As Salman Khan returns to the big screen after nearly two years in Nadiadwala production, Sikandar, his watch has caught the internet by surprise. Flaunting the exclusive Ram Janmabhoomi watch on his wrist, it features inscription “Jai Shree Ram” on the dial and motifs from the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Sharing these images he shared on Instagram promoting his film, “See you in theatres on 30th March!”
Previously, Abhishek Bachchan was also seen wearing this watch at the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) launch two months ago. The titanium version worn by the actor was worth Rs 34 lakh while the rose gold edition adorned by Salman was worth a whopping Rs 61,00,000.
Ram Janmbhoomi Watch
Created in collaboration with Ethos, this Jacob&Co Epic X Ram Janmabhoomi Titanium Edition 2 is available at a retail price of Rs 34,00,000 on the website. This limited-edition watch features intricate engravings of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple and Hindu deities, Ram and Hanuman with “Jai Shree Ram” engraved on the dial. Symbolising the historical significance of the temple in Indian history, there are only 49 pieces of this edition available worldwide. Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ release date
Fans anticipating the movie’s release this weekend, they shared their eagerness to watch it in the comment section wishing the film does well. The Salman Khan-Rashmika Mandanna starrer is set to release on Sunday, March 30 breaking the trend of Salman’s Friday releases ahead of Eid 2025.
Sikandar pre-sales opened on March 25 grew only by 22% and received underwhelming response on its first day. While it was touted to be Salman Khan’s biggest opener, the teaser was received well and fans await its release on Sunday. As per Sacnilk reports, the film has grossed Rs 3.17 crore in pre-sales as of today, March 27.
Previously, Salman Khan also collaborated with Jacob&Co creating a special edition timepiece collection to honor his roots and “celebrate India’s vibrant heritage.”
