A man from Bangalore quit a stable office job to focus on his family and relax, and that’s what the whole internet is talking about. Varun Agarwal, an entrepreneur, shared the story on LinkedIn. It is the story of Deepesh, an Uber driver, who chose a different way to balance his work and life.
From Office to Car
Agarwal said Deepesh was working in a company and was earning around ₹40,000 per month. The job was doing the necessary, but he did not see his wife and kids at all. Agarwal wrote, “So, this is Deepesh. He drove my Uber today.”
Deepesh first of all put his family and peace of mind, so he quit his job and took up driving full-time. Some people thought it was a bad decision, but it completely transformed his life. Presently, Deepesh earns nearly ₹56,000 a month by working only 21 days, thus, making his life way better.
Doing Well Outside the Office
Agarwal informed that Deepesh was very good with his money. He has saved enough money to buy one more car and has someone drive it for him. Presently, he is doing the work of a car service and is trying to start his own one.
The LinkedIn post was very popular and people liked Deepesh’s brave move. One person said, “I am a fan of such people who consciously make changes in their career and abandon the conventional path.” Another person wrote, “You really live life when you are the one making things happen, checking out the options, and going for it.”
Deepesh’s path to success is a reminder that it doesn’t necessarily mean following the conventional route. Being happy and spending time with your family can be more valuable than having a regular office job.
