Google has recently launched Nano Banana 2, the successor to its popular AI image generation model Nano Banana AI, which went viral for its saree trend. As excitement builds around the updated release, users are already posting about surprising use cases.

‘Students are going to love this’

One such post came from Siddhant Choudhary, a techie based in Pune, who shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Google’s AI can read handwritten maths questions and generate solutions. What’s more, it can generate the answers in the same handwriting.

“Google’s Nano Banana Pro is by far the best image generation AI out there,” Choudhary declared on X.

He further said, “I gave it a picture of a question and it solved it correctly in my actual handwriting,” before adding, “Students are going to love this.”

Alongside his now-popular post, he also shared a split image – one showing the integration problem he gave the chatbot to solve, and the other displaying the solved version. Not to forget, the chatbot generated the answer in Choudhary’s handwriting.

How did social media users react?

The post, since being shared on November 21, has accumulated numerous likes and views. Many even dropped their thoughts in the comments section of the post.

When one social media user wrote, “Please tell me you wrote this and not the AI,” Choudhary reiterated that it is indeed AI.

“Students are going to learn nothing and just have AI do their homework,” commented another. In response to this, the techie said, “I think this is how the future is gonna look like lol.”

A third commented, “Incredible, and we are still in just the beginning of AI.”

“I would have loved this in college. Be able to make up my own variations of textbook problems to poke and prod. See if I’m grasping at straws or in the right ballpark. Students who cheat are already cheating, so their loss,” read a fourth comment below the post.

A fifth said, “Impressive, but also slightly terrifying for educators. We’re about to enter a world where homework verification needs blockchain-level authentication.”

“If it copied your handwriting too, how are you not panicking?” asked yet another Internet user.

For those who were finding it difficult to wrap their heads around the fact that an AI bot solved the problem in his handwriting, Sid shared that he generated it using “Flow”, which he said comes with the Gemini Ultra plan.

Google Nano Banana 2

Google has introduced Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image), a powerful new image generation and editing model built on Gemini 3 Pro. It uses “Gemini’s state-of-the-art reasoning” and real-world knowledge to turn ideas into infographics, diagrams from handwritten notes and more. Thanks to Gemini 3’s advanced reasoning and real-world knowledge, the model can generate more accurate and context-rich images.

“With Gemini 3’s advanced reasoning, Nano Banana Pro doesn’t just create beautiful images; it also helps you create more helpful content,” Google said in a release.
