Amit Kashyap, originally from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh and now in Dallas Texas – is the man in question. He recently took to social media to share the amazing journey he’s been on to keep a lifelong promise he made to his parents. And he did it in a big way – gifting them a luxury home and a brand new BMW.
Emotional Surprise for the Family
Amit recently took his folks on a wild trip to Las Vegas – the joy on their faces was just priceless – especially when he captured it all on video which went on to become a hit online. He even shared another little clip of his mum Kanti Devi performing a prayer at their new BMW X7 – which put an icing on an already pretty sweet cake. For Amit though, these moments weren’t just about living the high life, they were more about showing love and appreciation to the two people who sacrificed so much for his success.
For Amit, these gifts were more than just material offerings, they were a heartfelt tribute to the sacrifices his parents made to give him a brighter future. During the Las Vegas trip, his parents were overjoyed, their reactions reflecting the wonder of children experiencing magic for the first time. Amit called those moments unforgettable, saying that the pride and happiness in their eyes made every effort he had put in truly worthwhile.
From Dirt Poor to Living the Dream
Amit shared with Hindustan Times that growing up wasn’t easy for his family. They had to fight tooth and nail to stay afloat. He told that his mum used to cook on a clay stove, she’d cook meals over an open fire while his dad would take out loans to help pay for education . Despite the struggles though, they made it a point to get him an education at one of the top schools in Mathura and later even footed the bill for his engineering studies. Amit said that he made a promise to himself that one day he’d turn their fortunes around and make their lives as comfortable as he possibly could.
The trip was also his parents very first taste of overseas travel – something that left them all wide-eyed and amazed. Amit said that he can still picture them looking out of the plane window just marveling at the clouds below – he even took them on a wild sightseeing tour across american cities and let them ride in one of his fancy new luxury cars – really memorable moments for the family.
A Successful Career and A Born Promise
Amit has a pretty cool job – he works as a techie who designs and builds all sorts of complex software systems for a major bank. All of this of course helped him turn his dreams into reality and to pay off the debt to his parents in a really special way.
