Rippling co-founder Prasanna Sankar has levelled explosive allegations against his wife, Dhivya Sashidhar, that have gone viral on social media. Sankar claims that Dhivya falsely accused him of rape and domestic violence as part of a bitter divorce and custody battle over their son. He alleges that their marriage fell apart after he discovered her six-month-old extramarital affair with a man named Anoop. Prasanna even made WhatsApp chats between Dhivya and Anoop public to substantiate his claims.

Not just that, he also shared a screengrab on Twitter (now X), allegedly sent to him by Anoop’s wife, showing a hotel booking for two people under Anoop’s name. The booking was made by his wife, Dhivya, as per the screenshot.

Prasanna is currently on the run from Chennai Police, alleging harassment and extortion. He claims officers have been demanding Rs 25 lakh to release his friend, Gokul, and have threatened to press false charges against him unless he reveals Prasanna’s whereabouts.

WhatsApp conversation between Anoop and Dhivya

“Can you buy a condom XL size and keep it?” Anoop messaged Dhivya on WhatsApp.

He continued, “It’s in Guardian, Watsons, or 7-Eleven maybe. These are convenience pharmacy stores.”

“Don’t reply to these texts. I’ll delete them now. All on Orchard Road,” he added.

Prasanna and Dhivya first met at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), and married 10 years ago. They have a nine-year-old son. Prasanna said that his wife pressed false cases against him because she was unhappy with the alimony settlement.

He also accused Dhivya of abducting their son to gain an advantage in the divorce case. While Prasanna filed for divorce in India, Dhivya initiated proceedings in the US for more alimony.

They also signed an MoU under which Prasanna agreed to pay Rs 9 crore and Rs 4.3 lakh per month in financial support. They settled on a 50-50 custody arrangement for their son.

Sankar further alleged that since his wife filed false cases against him, police have been illegally tracking his cell phone location, car, UPI transactions, and IP address; without any FIR.
