Lauren Sánchez, who is set to marry Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, recently made an appearance at the 2025 Global Gift Gala in Cannes, but it wasn’t just her outfit or presence that turned heads. Social media was quick to assume that Sánchez may have gone under the knife, with one X user claiming her face appeared “tightly pulled back”. Others didn’t quite like the transformation and felt it was a step too far, saying she looked more naturally beautiful before.

Global Gift Foundation, a non-profit organisation that aims to create a positive impact in the lives of children, women and families, shared a picture of Jeff Bezos’s fiancée. She wore a black strapless gown with a big diamond necklace. 

Reacting to her Cannes look, one social media user wrote, “Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sánchez shows off her new look, ahead of her upcoming wedding to the billionaire. She has never publicly acknowledged or denied having plastic surgery, despite drastic changes to her appearance.”

“Much prettier then. Now she has the same ‘look’ as every other woman who has extensive plastic surgery. Sad,” one X user wrote.
