IPL Auction 2025 Players List LSG: In a groundbreaking move at the IPL Auction 2025 in Jeddah, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have made history by securing Rishabh Pant for a record Rs 27 crores, making him the most expensive player in IPL history. Pant, whose base price was Rs 2 crores, was acquired after a fierce bidding war that saw LSG outbid other franchises, including heavy competition from Delhi Capitals.
In addition to Pant, LSG strengthened their squad with several high-profile players. They brought in experienced South African batter David Miller for Rs 7.5 crores, Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh for Rs 3.4 crores, and versatile batter Aiden Markram for Rs 2 crores. Fast bowler Avesh Khan was also secured for Rs 9.75 crores, while Abdul Samad, a dynamic middle-order batter, was acquired for Rs 4.2 crores. The team also added promising young talent Aryan Juyal for Rs 30 lakhs.
Alongside these new acquisitions, Lucknow Super Giants also confirmed the retention of several key players. Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, and Ayush Badoni were retained for IPL 2025, with Pooran earning Rs 21 crores, Bishnoi and Yadav at Rs 11 crores each, and Khan and Badoni at Rs 4 crores each.
