After having a drastic time in the tournament so far, Delhi must have hoped for a turn of fortunes with the beginning of the home leg but it turned out to be far from that. Led by Meraj Sheikh, the Delhi Dabang unit gave away points in at the closing end of the match throwing away a well-deserved victory against U Mumba. This was Delhi’s eighth loss in as many as 13 matches. After this result, the Dabang Delhi is now at the bottom of the points table in Zone A. While Meraj has been in top form for the side, the other players have let him down. Raider Abolfazl has contributed in patches but the team would need more from him against Pune. On the other hand, Puneri Paltan is favourites to qualify for the playoffs from Zone A. They have been ruthless and relentless, having won 8 of their last 7 matches.
