Many feel that this would be the IPL that will set the path for CSK’s future in the tournament. Breaking its bank, CSK had bought English star Ben Stokes for a whopping Rs 16.25 crore in December last year. But the latest health update from Stokes can be troubling for the yellow army. Administered a cortisone injection in his left knee, Stokes may not be able to bowl for CSK. Though the reports suggest that both CSK and ECB health experts are coordinating for Stokes, the explosive player may just be restricted to batting.
