40 Group Matches Lead Into Super Eights
The group stage will feature a total of 40 matches, taking place between February 7 and 20. The top two sides from each group will progress to the Super Eights phase, which begins on February 21. “This will be the first edition of the tournament under Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy,” noted an ICC official. “A number of key players, including Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Verma, are set to make their maiden appearances in international cricket’s top T20I competition.”
