After a challenging home Test series, India’s T20I squad will travel to South Africa for a four-match T20I series, starting on November 8, 2024. Coming off series victories in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Suryakumar Yadav and his team will face a formidable Proteas side, with the series acting as a rematch of the T20 World Cup 2024 final.
This tour will see matches played across four different South African cities: Durban, Gqeberha, Centurion, and Johannesburg. Notably, many of India’s senior players will be absent as they participate in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. This opens the door for Suryakumar Yadav to lead a fresh, young Indian unit eager to showcase their talent on the international stage.
