Cristiano Ronaldo turned back the clock with a stunning overhead kick as Al Nassr claimed a strong win over Al Khaleej. The goal reminded fans of his famous bicycle kick against Juventus in 2017, proving once again that even at 40, he remains one of the greatest players ever.

Al Nassr looked in control right from the start. Joao Felix was the star of the first half, scoring once and assisting another to set the rhythm of the game.

The team created several early chances and Ronaldo came close twice – first with a long-range shot and then with another effort inside the box, which the Al Khaleej goalkeeper Moris managed to block. These moments showed how dominant Al Nassr were in attack.

Felix and Wesley put Al Nassr ahead

Felix finally broke the deadlock in the 39th minute and just three minutes later, Wesley scored to make it 2-0. Early in the second half, Murad Al-Hawsawi pulled one back for Al Khaleej, but Sadio Mane restored Al Nassr’s two-goal lead a little later, calming any nerves.

Al Nassr stayed solid in defense and didn’t allow Al Khaleej many chances. Their task became even tougher when they were reduced to ten players after a red card late in the game, making any comeback nearly impossible.

Ronaldo scores his 955th goal in style

The moment of the match came right at the end when Ronaldo scored his 955th career goal with a brilliant bicycle kick – easily the most memorable moment of the night.

The stats reflected Al Nassr’s complete control, with Felix’s goal and assist adding to their impressive performance. With this win, Al Nassr have now won nine games in a row, strengthening their position as league leaders.

Ronaldo returns after World Cup qualification

Ronaldo had just returned from playing for Portugal. He was shown a red card against Ireland, but he still celebrated because Portugal qualified for the FIFA World Cup. If he plays in the tournament, it will be his record sixth World Cup appearance.
