JioPhone unboxing: Reliance Jio Phone has finally arrived. This is the box in which Reliance will provide once your Jio mobile is delivered. From the outside, it looks like any other feature phone. However, the cover also shows several features which Mukesh Ambani promised at the launch event. So, let's open the box and see if the Rs 1500 4G VoLTE capable feature phone worth the wait or money?

JioPhone unboxing: On opening the flap, we see, on one side there is a booklet. The booklet contains terms and conditions regarding the Jio Phone. On the other side, there is another flap and a SIM card which will come along with the box. Let's go ahead and see what is inside these flaps. JioPhone unboxing: THIS! Is the Reliance Jio Phone. The feature phone you all have been waiting for. Though it has all the characteristics of a feature phone, it surely down not feel like a low cost device. It has a sturdy body, the keypads feel great and solid, the colours are bright and attractive, and there is a front camera as well. The rear camera is of 2MP. There is a speaker at the back too which does produce a good amount of sound. Let's talk about what's inside the Jio mobile now.

JioPhone unboxing: Inside, we see a charger, a bar code, and a Warranty card. The bar codes contains IMEI numbers and more details. The quality of the box is good and gives a feeling that it packs a good device. The sturdiness of the box means you can keep the phone packed inside too, when not in use.

JioPhone unboxing: This is the Reliance Jio Phone battery charger. The company promises a 15 day standby charge on the Jio Phone. It has a 2,000 mAh battery and it can even play videos continuously for 7 hours. Reliance Jio says that the charger is capable of getting the phone fully charged (0-100) in around 1 hour.

While it has radio, calculator, alarms, and most basic features, it also supports mobile applications as well. The Phone is based on KaiOS software and it supports apps made by Jio. The Jio Phone has most of the Jio apps, such as JioCinema, JioTV, JioMusic, and more.
