The Maha Kumbh 2025 has officially begun, with millions of devotees already making their way to the holy Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. By early morning, more than 6 million pilgrims have bathed in the sacred waters of the convergence of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati river. This 45-day spiritual event is anticipated to bring a staggering 40 crore people, marking the onset of the largest human gatherings in the world.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have both hailed the significance of the grand event, celebrating its crucial role in India’s spiritual heritage and promoting unity in diversity. The atmosphere in Prayagraj is filled with devotion as devotees take the Shahi Snan. Pilgrims were seen offering prayers and seeking blessings at this historical event. -
