GSEB HSC result 2017: The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has declared the results class 12 results for the month of October on its official website, gseb.org. As per the official notification, a total of 1,11, 203 candidates have registered for the exam wherein 1,04,560 candidates appeared for the same. The Gujarat board was established on May 1, 1960. The GSEB conducts two (including four-semester type examinations) main examinations – the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam for class 10 and the Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (HSC) sem-1/sem-2/sem-3/sem-4 exams for class 12 students in Gujarat. The Board also holds a talent search for students of class 8 and class 9 in five major subjects every year.

IGNOU Hall ticket Dec 2017: The Term End Examinations (TEE) 2017 hall ticket has been released by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) at ignou.ac.in. Candidates who are to appear for the examination can download their admit cards from the official website now. This year a total of 4,97,883 students will be appearing for the examination and their admit cards are now available on the website. IGNOU is all set to conduct the term end examination from December 1 across 855 exam centres both in India and abroad. While out of the total examination centres 16 are located overseas and 90 centres have been set up for jail inmates who are registered for the examination.

CAT 2017 analysis: Candidates who appeared for difficult and tricky Common Admission Test (CAT 2017) were relieved to find that the question paper pattern was similar to last year. But not every cloud has a silver lining as students found that in the forenoon session, the Logical Reasoning (LR) and Data Interpretation (DI) sections were difficult for most, even tougher than last year’s. The Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), comprised of 34 questions. This was followed by 32 questions in the LRDI section. UGC engineering colleges degrees suspended: The engineering degrees of four top colleges including was suspended by the University Grants Commission (UGC), after the Supreme Court earlier in the week ordered for the same. Taking action on the apex court’s order, the engineering degress of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation, Tamil Nadu, Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), Rajasthan, Allahabad Agricultural Institute (AAI) and JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth now stand suspended by the UGC. PGIMER Chandigarh recruitment 2017: The Post Graduation Institute for Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) has announced 113 vacancies for the post of demonstrator under various department pgimer.edu.in. Eligible and interested candidates can apply now for the vacancies. The last date of receipt of the offline application by Speed Post or Personally in the care of Administrative Officer, Recruitment Cell, PGIMER, Chandigarh is 01.12.2017 up to 4.00 PM, the notification said. The admit card for the written exam will soon be publishing on the website after the application process is completed. It is learnt that the admit card will available 15 days before the examination date. The application form will be available on PGI website from 10.11.2017 to 29.11.2017 till 11.59 p.m.
