JEE Mains 2018 date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) mains test in the month of April next year. According to a news flash on the official website, “The examination of JEE (Main) – 2018 in pen-paper based (offline) mode will be conducted on 08th April 2018.” The examination is conducted every year for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. Candidates who sucessully qualify the Mains examination get to appear for the JEE (Advanced) through which candidates can get admission to premeire engineering institutes in the country like the IITs and NITs. CAT 2017 admit cards release: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow is all set to release admit cards for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 from tomorrow i.e October 25 from 1 PM onwards at iimcat.ac.in. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website as soon as the link has been activated by the conducting body, i.e IIM Lucknow. The link to download the admit cards will be active until Sunday, November 26, 2017— the day of the exam. A mock test for CAT 2017 will be conducted in the last week of October. This year, about 2.31 lakh candidates have registered for the exam. Remember, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without the admit card.(Website)

Sambalpur University Result 2017: Sambalpur University Odisha +3 Second Year Result 2017 has been declared at orissaresults.nic.in. The results for +3 second year examination has been declared by the Sambalpur University in Odisha on the official website – suniv.ac.in and the government website – orissaresults.nic.in. Results have been declared for +3 second year university exam for Arts, Commerce and Science stream. Students who appeared for the +3 second year examination conducted by the Sambalpur University can also check their results from the websites. TNDTE GTE results 2017: Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (TNDTE) has declared typewriting results of Government Technical Examinations (GTE) in commerce subjects. The results have declared on the official website, Tndte.gov.in. The tests were held in August 2017. TNDTE has also declared the list of rank holders of this GTE August typewriting results. Students who were eagerly waiting for the results can now download marks details/scorecard by visiting the official website by entering their roll number. GATE 2018: Candidates who applied for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 examination can now change their personal data on their application form with the help of the online correction facility at gate.iitg.ac.in. The examination is set to be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati on February 3, February 4 and February 10, February 11, 2018. According to the details mentioned on the official website of GATE, “Candidates who wish to change the gender, category, and PwD status in their GATE 2018 application, can do this by logging into GOAPS and clicking on button “Change Personal Data”. Please be careful while changing the details and make sure that you have verified the data modified before submitting the same. After submitting the form with modified details, you will be taken to the payment page to pay the additional fee.” (Website)

TSPSC Hall Tickets 2017: Admit cards for the written examination to the post of Forest Beat Officer in the Forest Department has been released by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) at tspsc.gov.in. All the candidates who applied for the said examination can download their hall tickets now from the official website of the commission as the link has been activated by TSPSC. The Forest Beat Officer (FBO) exam is set to take place on October 29, while the forest section officer examination was conducted on October 22. In an earlier notification, the commission invited applications to fill over 2000 posts – forest beat officer (1,857), forest section officer (90) and forest range officer (67). According to Indian Express, the Forest Beat Officer examination will be conducted in two sessions- morning and afternoon on October 29 across various centres. (Website)
