Railway recruitment 2018: Nearly 50,000 Assistant Station Master vacancies will be filled by the Indian Railways this year. Therefore, candidates who are preparing to get a job at the Indian Railways must grab this opportunity. As per the latest reports, it is likely that the Railway Recruitment Board will soon release a job notification at indianrailways.gov.in relating to the vacancies for Assistant Station Master posts. The examination will be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board, as per Odisha TV. In a bid to speed up the recruitment process, the board is mulling options to conduct the exam online this year. It is expected that the application process will start from January and will continue till February. (PTI)

UPSC mains 2017 result: The Union Public Service Commission has declared the result of civil services main examination at its upsc.gov.in. Candidates who had appeared can now check out their result by visiting the official website. The UPSC had conducted the examination from October 28 to November 3, 2017 for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services. Candidates who have successfully cleared the mains exam will now have to appear for an interview. (PTI)

IBPS clerk mains admit card: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit card for the mains examination of the clerk exam 2017 at ibps.in. Candidates who have cleared the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2017 can now download the call letters visiting the official website. This time, there are 7884 jobs for bank clerks, which is nearly 60 per cent less than the previous year. The IBPS will conduct the clerk mains examination on January 21, 2018. Earlier on Jan 1, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection had published the results of the preliminary Common Written Exam (CWE) for the recruitment of Clerks.

UP assistant teacher recruitment 2017-2018: The Uttar Pradesh Government will soon start a massive recruitment drive in which it will be appointing a huge number of assistant teachers. The Uttar Pradesh recruitment drive will be conducted by the UP Basic Education Board at its headquarters. This year the state government will be hiring nearly 68,500 assistant teachers. According to an official notification released, the online application process will start from January 25, 2018 and the last date to apply online will be February 5, 2016. (IE)
