The Yamuna has surpassed the 207 metre mark in Delhi, flooding in low-lying areas, affecting cremation grounds, and leading to massive traffic jams. As per the latest reports, over 8,000 people have been evacuated and have been shifted to shelters and relief camps built across the city. From Kashmere Gate to Kalindi Kunj, commuters experienced hours-long jams. The government has assured round-the-clock monitoring to manage the crisis.
