Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the Jammu Tawi Railway Station in Jammu and Kashmir is set to undergo redevelopment. After completion, it will provide world-class facilities to the passengers.

Jammu Tawi Railway Station comes under the Firozpur division of Northern Railways. Presently, it has three platforms and seven railway tracks.

Its station code is JAT. It is the largest railway station in this northern state of the country.

In the region, it is a major railhead for other places and for tourists heading towards the picturesque Kashmir Valley. From here, the Jammu–Baramulla line begins.
