CBSE result 2016 class 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the result today on Saturday, May 21 at 10.30 am, far ahead of the announced time of 12 noon. Check cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in and results.gov.in. CBSE 2016 STATISTICS: Sukriti Gupta of Montfort School in Delhi tops nationally with 497 of 500 in CBSE class 12th exams. Palak Goyal, Tagore Public School, Kurukshetra came in second with 496 marks; Somya Uppal from St Theresa Convent SChool, Karnal was third with 495. Ajish Sekar secured 495 marks in CBSE merit list 2016. He is from P S B B Sr Sec School L L Nagar, Chennai. CBSE result 2016 class 12: "Starting this year, CBSE will also provide Class XII digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at http://www.digilocker.gov.in. The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students via SMS on their mobile number registered with CBSE," an official statement said. "The results will also be available via Android mobile app-DigiResults. As per previous years, the board will also be disseminating its results through IVRS also," it added. In 2016, a total of 10,67,900 candidates registered for the Class 12 exam as against 10,40,368 in 2015. Delhi (including foreign schools) and Panchkula have registered the highest number of candidates with Delhi on 2.9 lakh for class 10 and 2.7 lakh for Class 12 board. (Express photo)

CBSE result 2016 class 12: "Schools under the Delhi region are advised to collect the results from the office of the respective Zonal office after declaration of the result. People are advised not to visit Board's office for collection of results," the statement said adding, the process of verification will be displayed on CBSE's website.
