Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi’s most powerful camera smartphone, has officially broken cover starting with China. The 15 Ultra joins the 15 and 15 Pro, to complete the Xiaomi 15 series. Two of these phones, the Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, are confirmed to launch globally at the Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, Spain on 2nd March. Xiaomi is simultaneously running teaser campaigns in India hinting at imminent launch at around the same time.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Price, variants
Xiaomi has launched the 15 Ultra in a choice of 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB. The base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 6499 which roughly translates to Rs 77,960. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 6999 which is roughly Rs 83,960. The top-end variant of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage will set you back by CNY 7799 which is approximately Rs 93,550.

Xiaomi is offering the 15 Ultra in four colours: black, white, classic black silver, and pine cypress green. The latter two have dual tone design with styling more akin to a point-and-shoot camera. Much like the 14 Ultra, the sequel also gets its own professional imaging kit accessory. Sold separately, it is priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs 11,990).
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Specs, features
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s big headlining feature is the camera setup. It has four Leica-tuned cameras on the rear: a 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 primary sensor behind a wide f/1.63 lens with optical image stabilisation, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensor behind an f/1.8 3x telephoto lens, another 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor with f/2.6 periscope telephoto lens, and another 50-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide. The front camara is a 32MP.
Elsewhere, the 15 Ultra has a 6.73-inch 2K or 1440p LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,200nits of peak brightness. Dolby Vision content is natively supported. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 8 Elite and a 6000mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired and 80W wireless charging. The phone can reversely charge other compatible devices wirelessly. Running the show is HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The phone has an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and comes with IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
