According to the report, the new reply bar has two notable advantages, particularly in terms of speed and user convenience. Firstly, it empowers users to swiftly respond to specific media items within a chat without having to exit the current screen. This allows users to seamlessly engage in a conversation without disrupting the flow. Secondly, the reply bar’s accessibility when viewing images, videos, and GIFs, even within the media screen in the chat info section, enhances the user experience by eliminating unnecessary interruptions.
WhatsApp is also working on an important update for WhatsApp Channels. WaBetaInfo reports that the chat app is releasing a new feature to allow users to quickly copy channel update links. This will eliminate the need for manual forwarding. Users will have the option, accessible through the message options menu, to quickly copy the channel update link for a specific message. The report points out that you do not need to be the channel creator to get a channel update link as this feature is available to all users with access to the channel.
