The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the most expensive smartphone that Samsung has ever made. How expensive you ask? Well, it is the first Samsung phone to have breached the 2 Lakh price bracket in India. Globally, too, the Z Fold 6 costs USD 100 more than its predecessor.
So the prices have gone up across the board. In India, though, the hike is pretty significant. Even the iPhone 15 Pro Max stops at Rs 1,99,900. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 can set you back by Rs 2,00,999.

Samsung’s latest flagship foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, brings a host of notable changes, with the most significant being the new aspect ratio of its cover screen. The cover display now features a 22.1:9 ratio, a marked improvement over the 23.1:9 of the Galaxy Z Fold 5. This slight adjustment, combined with an increase in diagonal size to 6.3 inches, results in a larger, more user-friendly screen.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is also more compact and lightweight. Most notably, the new model is 14 grams lighter, bringing it down to 239 grams, making it one of the lightest foldables on the market.
Samsung has also redesigned the hinge and increased the size of the vapor chamber by 1.6 times to enhance heat dissipation. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 boasts an IP48 certification, marking a significant milestone with dust protection, a first among foldables. This certification guarantees protection from solid particles over 1 mm in size, a noteworthy improvement in durability.
The internal display remains a 7.6-inch foldable Infinity Flex. Both the main and cover screens are Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. The cover display and the back of the phone are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
Camera-wise, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 retains much of the previous hardware. It features a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 10 MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens with a 123-degree field of view. For selfies, there is a 10 MP camera on the cover display and a 4 MP under-display camera.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 maintains the same 4,400 mAh battery capacity for the third consecutive generation. It supports 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
Last but not the least, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will receive seven generations of Android updates.
