Skype on web browsers is now available worldwide

Skype through a blogspot announced that it is now available for web worldwide. Users can access Skype via web through the link: http://www.skype.com or web.skype.com.

The Skype beta for the web was earlier available only in the US and UK. The Skype for web is still in beta. The user can have chat conversations on any browser using the Skype account. Users should remember that voice and video calls are possible once they download a plugin, and use a compatible web browser. The supported browsers are Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

The list of languages Skype for web supports is, “Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, English, German, Greek, Spanish, Estonian, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional.”
