Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7. While the Flip 7 may garner headlines for ditching the Snapdragon chip in favour of the Exynos chipset, the star of the show is the more accessible Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE – a direct rival to the Motorola Razr 60.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE is the cheapest foldable from the brand, starting at Rs 89,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The top-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 95,999.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 starts at a price of Rs 109,999 for base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The top-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB model comes at Rs 121,999.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 boasts a new edge-to-edge FlexWindow, a flagship-level camera, and an ultra-compact design. The 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow comes with 2,600 nits of peak brightness and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the Z Flip 7 is the latest 3nm Exynos 2500 chip, which is backed by a 4,300mAh (typical) dual battery. Charging speeds remain at 25W wired charging (promising up to 50% in 30 minutes), Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare. Running on Android 16 with One UI 8, the Z Flip 7 brings deeper integration with Gemini Live, which is now directly available on the FlexWindow for voice searches and task completion.
The Z Flip 7 features a dual rear camera system with a 50MP Wide-angle camera (Dual Pixel AF, OIS, F1.8) and a 12MP Ultra-Wide Camera (F2.2). The 10MP selfie camera (F2.2) on the front promises high-quality self-portraits. Enhanced Nightography, 10-bit HDR, Real-Time Filters, and a new Zoom Slider are part of the photography experience.

Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE as a more affordable model, designed to make the foldable experience accessible to a broader audience.
The Galaxy Flip 7 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (1~120Hz) and a resolution of 2640×1080 pixel. A 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover screen with a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels.The device is equipped with a 50MP main camera for selfies and video in Flex Mode, a 12MP ultra-wide camera (F2.2), and a 10MP selfie camera (F2.2).’
Powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, it comes with 8GB of Memory and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It features a 4,000mAh (typical) dual battery with 25W wired charging, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare. The device supports 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth v5.4. It also includes Samsung Knox with Samsung Knox Vault and a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor. There’s support for one Nano SIM and Multi eSIM.
