Realme has announced a new smartphone called the Realme P3 Pro that is seemingly exclusive to the India market. Sequel to the P2 Pro, the P3 Pro officially breaks cover on March 18 but as is the nature of these things, Realme has taken the full wraps off of it ahead of launch. This includes the phone’s design and key specifications.
Realme says the P3 Pro has a Nebula design with “a celluloid texture” and “luminous colour-changing fibre that absorbs light and then glows in the dark.” It has been tailored specifically for Indian consumers which extends into the phone’s colour choices which include Nebula Glow, Saturn Brown and Galaxy Purple. The P3 Pro is following hot on the heels of the Realme 14 Pro series which, too, has a unique design that responds differently to varying degrees of temperature.
Yet another “feature” that has trickled down from the Realme 14 Pro series is the “42-degree gold curvature” which is to say that the Realme P3 Pro has a quad-curved screen.
Realme P3 Pro specs confirmed
Alongside the design, Realme has also revealed the core specs of the upcoming P3 Pro. It is being billed as the first smartphone in its price segment to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Co-incidentally, the same chip powers the more expensive Realme 14 Pro Plus. The brand is also touting its “GT Boost technology” which it says has been co-developed with Krafton and so, players of the popular battle royale game BGMI can expect enhanced gameplay with “AI Ultra-Steady Frames, Hyper Response Engine, AI Ultra Touch Control, and AI Motion Control.”
The Realme P3 Pro is further confirmed to come with a 1.5K resolution display and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Realme says the P3 Pro will be available across realme.com and Flipkart. There is no word on offline availability. Stay tuned for more updates.
