Speculation suggests that OnePlus might bypass the “14” altogether and move directly to launching the OnePlus 15. Recent leaks hint that skipping to the OnePlus 15 could also signal a major upgrade in hardware, featuring a stronger processor and a significantly larger battery. The OnePlus 15 is expected to make its first appearance in China towards the end of 2025, followed by its launch in the Indian market in the initial months of 2026.

OnePlus 15 chipset:

One of the major enhancements anticipated is in the performance department, with the OnePlus 15 likely to feature the yet-to-be-unveiled Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, expected to be introduced around September. This would place the device on par with other premium smartphones, allowing it to directly compete with the leading flagships in the industry.

OnePlus 15 camera:

According to online reports, OnePlus is likely to introduce a brand-new camera processing technology with the arrival of the OnePlus 15. This system may resemble Oppo’s Lumo imaging engine, first seen in the newly released Oppo Find X8s and Find X8 Ultra devices.

OnePlus 15 designa and display:

A recent post on Weibo by well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the upcoming OnePlus 15 will feature a 1.5K resolution screen—marking a shift away from the QHD+ displays seen on previous OnePlus flagships.

The tipster also mentions that the device will sport a flat display, breaking the trend of curved-edge screens used in recent models, including the quad-curved design introduced with the OnePlus 13.

OnePlus 15 battery:

The OnePlus 15 is also rumored to get a battery boost, with Digital Chat Station suggesting a capacity between 7,000 mAh and 8,000 mAh. For context, the OnePlus 13 houses a 6,000 mAh battery and supports 50W wireless along with 100W wired fast charging. Additional information about the next-gen flagship is likely to surface in the near future.
