OnePlus 15 launch is right around the corner. The latest flagship smartphone from OnePlus will first be released in China, which has officially been confirmed by the company. Following the release in China, the OnePlus 15 will release in other markets, including India and Europe. Although OnePlus confirmed the release of the smartphone, yet the timeline of the launch has been kept under wraps.
According to insider leaks and rumours, OnePlus is set to release in China by the end of this month. Whereas the leaks suggest the global launch date of the OnePlus 15 to November 13. As far as the specifications of the OnePlus are concerned, the company has confirmed that the device will be powered by the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Whereas other specifications have not been disclosed as of yet, however, a new leak on Weibo is providing some information about the same.
OnePlus 15 Display
OnePlus 15 will sport a 6.78-inch BOE X3 AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and LTPO technology, allowing a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 165Hz. The panel is said to offer Dolby Vision and Pro XDR support, along with a peak brightness of 1,800nits, promising a smooth and vivid viewing experience whether indoors or in sunlight.
OnePlus 15 Processor
The smartphone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which promises top-level performance and speed. It may also include an advanced cooling system to help manage heat during gaming or heavy use. It will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The leaked variants of the device include multiple configurations – 12GB or 16GB RAM, with storage options going up to 1TB.
OnePlus 15 Camera
OnePlus 15 could feature a triple 50-megapixel setup. The main lens is rumoured to use the Sony LYT-700 sensor with OIS and a 24mm focal length. It could be accompanied by two Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors, one for the 0.6x ultrawide lens and another for the 3.5x telephoto.
OnePlus 15 Design and Build Quality
OnePlus has worked on improving both the look and durability of the phone, according to some reports. The OnePlus 15 will likely feature a metal frame with a micro-arc oxidation finish, which should make the phone more resistant to scratches and dents. A new “Sand Storm” color is also expected to be introduced.
OnePlus 15 India Price
The OnePlus 15 5G is expected to fall in the premium smartphone segment, with an estimated price between Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 75,000 in India. This puts it in competition with top-end phones from brands like Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi.
