This physical button offers multiple practical functions and serves as a gateway to activate several AI-powered tools.
OnePlus announced plans to introduce a variety of new capabilities under its OnePlus AI umbrella. Among these is OnePlus AI Voice Scribe, a feature that enables users to record, summarize, and translate conversations during calls and meetings across messaging platforms and virtual conferencing apps.
The Plus Key: A Personal AI Shortcut:
The newly introduced Plus Key can be customized to perform a variety of tasks, such as taking a photo or starting a translation. Its most impressive function, however, is triggering AI Plus Mind—a powerful tool that enables users to quickly capture and organize important information displayed on their screens. Whether it’s details about events, travel itineraries, or booking confirmations, pressing the key or using a three-finger swipe instantly saves the data into a special Mind Space.
AI Plus Mind goes beyond simple storage by comprehending the information it collects. For example, it can extract event timings from screenshots or text and automatically add them to your calendar. Thanks to AI Search, users can easily find saved content later using natural, conversational language. Additionally, an automatic content sorting feature is expected to roll out later this year, further improving organization and accessibility.

AI Best Face 2.0: Scheduled for an over-the-air update in summer 2025, this feature improves group photos by correcting closed eyes and less flattering expressions, supporting images with up to 20 people—including pictures captured on other devices.
