Nothing’s Phone 3a series may have been a closely guarded secret but that hasn’t stopped leaks from flowing from all sides of the internet. A fresh new leak, that’s just come in, reveals the full design of the Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro ahead of launch on 4th March. While the Phone 3a is the usual suspect, the Phone 3a Pro is a new entrant likely to replace the Phone 2a Plus. Why it is called “pro” is something only time will tell.
As for what’s being reported (via Android Headlines), the Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro, use the same base template and then branch out to offer different camera experiences. The Phone 3a Pro is the more powerful of the two where the camera assembly has a commanding presence in both looks and specs.
Nothing has confirmed the specs, mostly, so the leak adds credence that the Phone 3a Pro is the one with a 3x periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel sensor underneath it. The Phone 3a also has the same 50MP resolution camera but behind a conventional 2x zoom lens. The report adds that both phones are likely to get a 50MP primary and 8MP ultrawide camera. The Phone 3a Pro is tipped to get a 50MP front camera while the Phone 3a will reportedly make do with a 32MP camera for selfies.
The rest of the specifications will reportedly stay the same in both phones. This includes a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. The screen is said to be protected by Panda glass.
The Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro are both tipped to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phones are expected to run Android 15 software. Running the show will reportedly be a 5,000mAh battery. Based on renders shared, both Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro are set to come in black and white with signature Nothing transparent aesthetics complete with glyph LED lights.
