Nothing has officially unveiled its highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone 3. Hailed as the “true flagship” by Nothing CEO Carl Pei, the Phone 3 wants to deliver a reimagined user experience centered around its signature Glyph Interface. The Phone 3’s specs sheet doesn’t venture too far from what the leaks revealed – an odd design paired with versatile cameras and more.

Nothing Phone 3 India price:

The Phone 3 is sharing the stage with the Headphone 1, thus offering a premium overal experience to fans and to all those seeking an alternative experience from the iPhone. Prices for the Nothing Phone 3 start at Rs 79,999 for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The top-end variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage costs Rs 89,999

Here’s a quick look at everything the Nothing Phone 3 has to offer.

Nothing Phone 3 design:

The Phone 3 refines Nothing’s distinctive transparent aesthetic, featuring layered metal and glass with a new asymmetrical back panel. It boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and its display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the front and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the back. A slimmer and symmetrical 1.87mm bezel (18% reduction from Phone 2) frames the display.

The star of the show is the new Glyph Matrix with 489 individually addressable LEDs for glanceable caller ID and app notifications. Complementing this is the new Glyph Button, adding interactivity for cycling through tools, widgets, and Glyph Toys, which include a Glyph Mirror and a Digital Clock. A subtle red recording light also activates on the back during video or voice notes.

Nothing Phone 3 chipset:

Under the hood, the Phone 3 is powered by the latest but not the greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, built on TSMC’s older 4nm process. This 8-core CPU clocked at 3.21GHz and Qualcomm Adreno 825 GPU deliver a 125% uplift in AI processing speed compared to Phone 2, alongside a 36% CPU and 88% graphics boost. The Phone 3 ships with Nothing OS 3.5 (Android 15), promising five years of major Android OS updates and seven years of security patches.

New software features include Essential Space, a “second memory” for instant capture and AI-assisted organisation of screens, voice notes, and photos via a dedicated “Essential Key.” Essential Search provides a universal smart search bar for quick access.

Nothing Phone 3 camera:

The Phone 3 boasts an all-50MP, 4K 60fps camera system. The main camera features a 50 MP sensor (f/1.68, 1/1.3” sensor) with lossless 1.5x and 2x in-sensor zoom. A 50 MP f/2.68 periscope camera offers 3x optical, 6x lossless in-sensor, and 60x AI Super Res Zoom, plus periscope macro focus. The 50 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera provides a 114-degree FOV and ultra-steady video. For selfies and vlogging, a powerful 50 MP f/2.2 front camera with a 1/2.76” sensor promises crisp video and stabilisation.

Nothing Phone 3 display:

The Phone 3 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1260 x 2800 pixel resolution, HDR10+, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 4500 nits peak brightness for HDR content and 1600 nits outdoor brightness, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and 1000Hz touch sampling.

Nothing Phone 3 battery:

Powering all this is a 5150mAh silicon-carbon battery (5500mAh for India), promising up to two full days of power. It supports 65W wired fast charging (50% in 19 minutes, full in 54 minutes), 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The Nothing Phone 3 is available in black and white colourways.
