This year’s Microsoft Build officially kicks off on Tuesday, May 21, and will run for three days. Day 1 of the Microsoft Build livestream will begin at 8:30 a.m. PT / 11:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, starting with the pre-show and Imagine Cup World Championship.
Introducing Copilot Plus PCs
This year Microsoft launched its new power packed PC, that is Copilot Plus PCs with more advanced AI features in it. Copilot Plus PCs have an NPU capable of 40+ TOPs, making them the most powerful NPUs on the market with remarkable efficiency in handling AI tasks. This is particularly crucial for a notebook PC running on battery.

Windows Studio Effects: The new windows studio effects features offers you with creative filters, portrait light. You can also get an upgrade across eye contact and teleprompter, among others.
How will AI shape your future?
Last year’s Microsoft Build keynotes unveiled the company’s new AI assistant Windows Copilot, and revealed that Bing would become ChatGPT’s default service for web browsing. The year 2024 seems to be the ‘reimagine PC with AI’ era for Microsoft.
In addition to the other updates, this year Whatsapp in PC will see a new upgrade. Now with additional Camera Settings that are optimised for AI PCs, you can unlock more capabilities to make the video calling experience even better. Add privacy with different modes of background blur or move around freely while staying in focus with automatic framing.
